Northwest Service Academy, now in its 15th year, operates the AmeriCorps Outdoors program from its Mt. Adams Center campus. It is located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest -- 90 miles from Portland, Oregon.
AmeriCorps Outdoors offers conservation, trail building, wildfire management and environmental intern jobs in Oregon and Washington. AmeriCorps volunteers receive an AmeriCorps education award in addition to a modest living stipend and health insurance.
